Manual Therapy
The main focus of manual therapy lies in the motion of joints, musculature and nerves. Pain can appear in the musculoskeletal system due to disruption of the course of motion of a joint.
In manual therapy we try to work on these disorders with mobilizations and manipulations. With mobilizations the therapist moves the joint or nerve. A manipulation contains an impulse at the end of the movement to release the tension and disorder quickly. Depending on the indication we offer mobilization and manipulation. Manipulations are only done with consent of the patient.
Manual Therapy is a effective treatment of disorders of most joints, especially the spine (lower and neck), shoulder, hip and knee.
