Basics
We first focus on a precise diagnosis to complement the doctor's diagnosis. Only when we know exactly where the problem lies and what the cause is can we take the right measures. That's why we try to take up to 45 minutes for you at your first appointment, as far as this is possible in terms of planning.
When you come to us for the first time, we spend a large part of the treatment focussing precisely on your complaints. We want to know what is causing you discomfort, which movements are problematic and what you have been able to do about them so far. We also aim to work according to scientifically recognised methods in order to reach our goal as quickly and efficiently as possible. This is why we use an adapted RPS form for the assessment and proceed according to the ICF categorisation into structure, activity and participation.
Another important aspect of our concept is information. Only if you as a patient know what your problem is, if you understand your complaints, can you make the best possible contribution to healing. So ask us if anything is unclear, we will be happy to help you!
Home programme
At physio fortis, an important part of the treatment is the home programme. Many patients ask themselves what they can do themselves, we show them how to progress. Almost every patient receives a written home programme with pictures and explanations. This enables you to carry out the exercises correctly and support the healing process.
Below we have listed the most common complaints and described our approach. Of course we also treat other indications. If we are not familiar with something, we will tell you directly and try to refer you to a specialist (such as in acute neurological cases).
