Neck pain
Many people know the feeling of neck stiffness. An incredible force acts like a blockade so that you can continue to move your head in the desired direction. Fortunately, most neck stiffness, or torticollis as it is also known in technical jargon, is of relatively short duration (a few days) and goes away by itself.
But what about headaches, dizziness or radiation to the arms? Is the neck also to blame here?
We will try to find out with you. At the first appointment, we get to know your history of complaints, develop a hypothesis based on this and try to confirm it with various tests. There is an important difference between whether radiation into the arm is caused by a trigger point or a slipped disc. And we want to know these details before we start a trial treatment.
Among other things, we treat
- Neck stiffness (troticollis)
- Whiplash / WAD (whiplash associated disorders)
- Herniated disc / disc hernia
- Tension headaches
- Dizziness
